Brooke. Brooke. Brooke. Grew up in a medium sized house. In the middle of L.A. What not to like? Right? Wrong. There were annoying parties everywhere she looked. Her parents were always away at work and well, she never had anyone to talk to. Let's start from the beginning shall we? Okey dokey. When Brooke was 7 her parents sent her to private school. It was called Mill Brook Prepratory. She went there her whole life and she even thought she liked it there. The halls were regular and it was small. Everyone was kind and nobody back stabbed each other. She always got good grades. But that's when middle school happened to her. Yes. Middle school. Gossiping, back stabbing, parties, drinking, and of course the hated but used drugs.
Brooke wasn't the type of girl to do drugs. Of course not. She was a sweet girl who was loved by all. But then Jim Miller had a party in the 8th grade and her world turned upside down. She tried some alcohol. Big deal. But then he offered her marajuna. She said no but everyone said yes. I have to fit in. Right? So, she took it. And she liked it. She became addicted. Awful and her parents noticed too. She would stay late at Jim's on Fridays and throughout the weekend. She started to drink and Brooke felt bad about it. Her grades went down the toilet along with her moral. So what? It could all be fixed.
An addiction is an addiction. It's hard to break and that's sad. She tried everything avoiding Jim, not going to parties but she always went back for more. How could she stop? Her parents had had enough and now she's being sent to Seattle. Away from home away from Jim. Will this sweety turned bad girl change back to normal? Seattle it's your turn to decide.

"Good job Brooke. I'll see you, next week. Same horse. Same day." Ahh, the only drug that wasn't bad for her. Riding. She smiled yet again, she was at her A game in riding. She was always the best at that. She smiled and patted Rosey the paint mare she loved to ride. Today they'd jump 3'6 and she was happy. She dismounted. After cleaning Rosey she put her in the paddock.
"See ya next week hot stuff!" And out the barn she went. Walking down the end of the trail she found her dad's Mercedes. Ahh what a nice car. But something that she'd never get. Sadly enough. She jumped into the passenger's seat and changed to station to her own. "Would you stop that Brooke!" Her dad always hated that. Too bad. Tough luck!
Brooke got home to her usual happy family. Her mom, her dad, and their border collie Jeff. "Hey Jeffy!" She patted him. Then a sudden surge went through her. I need marajuna...now! She rushed upstairs and into her room but her mom was in hot pursuit.
"Your father and I would like to talk to you downstairs." Brooke kept going. "Now." Her mom had laid down the law. Brooke jumped down the stair well and followed her mom. Slumping. Forgetting about her good english riding position. Whatever. Screw that. She sat down at the mohagany table.
"Yes?" She rolled her eyes. And her parents pretended like they didn't see it. They were very good at that.
"Your moving to Seattle. We've bought you an apartment." Her mom said quickly and smoothly.
"What?! Your kidding right?!"
"Hah! No! Have you seen yourself you need to get away from Jim and those other people." Her dad scowled. And that was that. She threw herself up from the chair and dashed up the stairs taking them two at a time. She ran up and packed her bags. With everything. But she forgot one thing.
Her dad picked her up the next morning at 8 a.m. and she caught the nearest plane. She said goodbye and got on the plane. When she arrived at the big city she had that craving. Only a lil won't hurt. Well that's what she thought.
"My marajuna? Where is it?" She said quietly. Seattle, can you make this addiction stop?
