Why was she the unlucky one? Why Brooke? Brooke hadn't been to a nightclub in ages, and she needed a night off of drugs and on the town. She walked down the sidewalk in black stilettos with a dark blue miniskirt and a white and blue tube top. Time to meet some new people and hopefully have fun. Hopefully.
She pulled open the heavy door and stepped inside. There was a bar. Oh no. Definitly not good. And a dance floor with a DJ and lots of happy people, mainly couples dancing under the flashing lights. They're happy. Now why can't that be me? She looked at a blonde who was dancing with a boy on the edge of the dance floor. She rolled her eyes and sat down at the bar. She sighed. Her hair was curled to perfection and she looked like a model. But a sad lonely one. She ordered a cosmo. And told herself that she'd only have one.
But drinks are something she loved. And couldn't get away from. She looked older than her age and one wouldn't hurt...right? She needed something to get her started and also relax her. She checked her text messages on her phone. None. She closed the pink LG Chocolate and sipped her cosmo. Maybe, this will be a nice first night. And I won't miss home. I know I'm not going to miss my parents. She thought all of that in a matter of a couple of seconds. Her brain was whizzing in circles like her mind. She couldn't tell whether she missed her parents or hated them? They shipped her off like an annoying puppy that won't house train and then left her in Seattle. A big city with no one she knew.
She needed to meet people. ASAP.

A smile crossed the young woman's glossy lips as she pressed herself against her dance partner on the floor. A couple nights ago she'd dyed her hair blond just to switch things up. You rarely saw her twice with the same color hair, it just wasn't her style. In the dark one couldn't really admire her attire, particularly not the way she was dancing on this young man, but she was dressed quite nicely in her charming beige chiffon dress, with golden butterflies stitched in gold thread, shimmering in the club lights that flashed by. She wasn't even sure of the young man's name she danced on, but he'd been calling her "Butterfly" which suited her just fine. In her beige heels she was nearly his height, now standing a nice five foot nine and a half.
The flashy dance song was coming to an end and the girl never danced more than one song at a time. She ground against him a few more times before she put her lips near his ear, her hands remaining on his butt. "Find me later if you're looking for a good time," she said into his ear, just loud enough to be heard, as she gave his rear a squeeze and pulled away, flashing a smile as she walked away. These were the sort of invitations that were selective with her, not everyone got one, at least not when she was sober. Some guys came back, well most actually, though a few either forgot or weren't interested. The night was still young and for all she knew someone else would catch her fancy, though this guy had really gotten to her out on the dance floor.
She strode off, purposely sashaying just to give him something to want. She was a tease, but she rarely stopped at that. She sat down next to thin girl who appeared her age, but looks were deceiving. She appeared lonely, but being the extrovert she was the girl took no pity. If you didn't get out there you were lonely, that was that. Even so she found herself looking at the girl out of curiosity... except for that small nose she was pretty. Why didn't she just get out there? That was the point of clubbing. She shrugged and stopped staring waving her hand daintily to get the bartender's attention, smiling at him, "Can you do a Flaming Moe?" The man laughed and said of course, turning off to grab the various liquors, cough syrup, and a lighter.
With her drink order in the extroverted girl looked at the introverted one sipping a red drink she was nearly positive was a Cosmo, a drink a bit too fruity for her taste, even with the vodka. The drink reminded her of Carrie off Sex and the City and she suddenly wanted to be home watching the show. She smiled, "You get turned down or something," she asked with a bluntness that made some people mad and others appreciative. The bartender returned with a shaker and lighter before she got her answer, the man grinning as he flipped a tall glass up on to the table and filled it with the shaker's contents. He grinned, "Sit back ladies," he warned the two of them, making a show out of bringing the flame to the drink, catching it on fire.
The blaze was enchanting and the girl watched with a smile on her lips as it grew and then within a minute was gone again. The bartender had stayed for the duration, not by obligation, mainly because he seemed to like watching it, before he flashed the blond a grin, "Enjoy!" She watched him walk away, getting her hopes up of maybe bringing him home with her someday, or perhaps the other way around. Maybe... She frowned and dropped the thought. For all she knew he was gay. She'd decide later if he was worth her time. She hesitantly touched her finger to the glass, testing to see how hot it was, discovering the glass had cooled significantly. She picked it up and flashed a grin at the girl next to her, "Cheers," she said, lifting her drink in salute before taking a sip. She laughed after a moment as she set the drink down, extending a hand in greeting, "I forgot, but my name's Jo."

Brooke smiled at the new girl. She seemed nice. I'm Brooke. She toasted the girls flaming moe and took a sip of her cosmo. Finishing it off. I didn't get turned down. I just came here and I don't know anyone. She said looking at the dance floor where Jo had been dancing. Jo seemed to radiant confidence when she danced out there. Which looked nice and all. She really wasn't shy. When Brooke was at home she was anything but shy but she was alone in a strange new city. She was frightened a little.
So, how long have you been here? She wanted to know, because the girl seemd so comfy and at home. At home, Brooke was the type that guys wanted and she usually took them. But here, she needed to take her time. But just wait, she was sure that her real attitude and personality would come out. And if she was willing maybe tonight. She decided that she better make a move now. A song with a good beat came on and she got up and went to the dance floor to go look for boys. She found a brunette who was about her height and was really hot. She started to dance with him and grind a little bit. She noticed how Jo flirted and she was pretty much a flirt too.
She looked to see if Jo was coming on the dance floor too. It was a good song and if you spend too much time drinking you'll waste your life away. Brooke had learned that lesson a long time ago. The lights flashed and raidiated her face. There was a smile on her face, for the first time since she'd been here. She was grinning, and now it felt like she was her old self again. What a great feeling. Now she just needed to find some guys. It's never a good night without guys.

Jo nodded at the returned introduction with a grin, "That's a nice name." She took another sip of her drink, knowing the high alcohol content wouldn't take long to kick in. It didn't take much to make her loose, in which case she was about ten times wilder than what had already been witnessed. The thing was her mundane job as a waitress got her stressed out and she felt this was the best way to relax. At twenty she wasn't really old enough, but about half the people here weren't either. Would she ever grow up? She didn't really know, it would take something big to convince her to be an adult. But currently it wasn't important in her mind, so far she'd felt no commitment to any guy she'd met nor did she have anything else to hold her down.
She dismissed her thoughts and tuned back into the conversation. At Brooke's comment she shook her head. "Not an excuse," she said with a laugh, and then she shrugged "You rarely run into the same person twice. Not in the Emerald City at any rate." She took another swallow of her drink, swirled the contents, and then took another gulp. The thing about Flaming Moes was you never knew exactly what was in your glass. It was just whatever the bartender had around, which would frighten most people, but not Jo. "I've been in Seattle for two years or so," she replied with a nod. The Baltic Room was a favorite spot of hers, but she could make herself comfortable in any place. It was just part of her charm.
The alcohol was working its way through her veins and giving her that good feeling that made her want to get up and dance. She finished off the glass and set the glass down, reaching for a napkin and pulling a pen out of her pink purse, writing out Jo - 085 9569 and sitting it under the drink glass for the bartender. She grinned and turned around to watch the people dancing as the song switched, something with a good beat and she nudged Brooke, "Go, get out there and dance." She was pleased as the girl left and she watched her pair off with a brunette guy who seemed to be enjoying himself. She whistled, "That's how you do it," she called with a huge grin and then she laughed.
The guy sitting next to her chuckled, "You bi or something?" Jo shook her head, seeing her opportunity, "Straight, as a matter of fact. Want me to prove it," she asked, grabbing him by the arm and hauling him with her onto the dance floor with little resistance. She had paid no attention to him before, but as they started to dance she looked him over. He was quite the skinny boy, with frizzy black hair that looked blue in the light. He wasn't quite as good a catch as her last partner, but he had nice dark eyes. She caught the beat, and pressed her body against his, putting her arms around his neck as he rested his hands against her hips. Dirty dancing came naturally to Jo, she was comfortable with her body and she could get into it easily.
A bubble of laughter rose in her throat as she realized that the poor man either was very into her or hadn't had any in a while. She tossed her hair a bit and put her lips closer to his ear, "You're liking this, aren't you?" He chuckled, but a blush had covered his cheeks. She smiled and keeping her face up near his neck she ground against him a few times getting a loud wanting noise from him. She kissed his neck and pulled back, he might turn out to be a lot funner than the other guy. "Can I buy you a drink," he asked her hesitantly and Jo nodded with a smile, appreciating his politeness. She liked being treated like a lady, it never went over well when they were rude. She wasn't sure if she'd run into Brooke again before the night was over, but a part of her hoped she would. The girl had potential to be a good shopping or clubbing buddy.

The song was almost over and Brooke was so sweaty from the body heat the grinding caused. She took out some lipstick and wrote her number on the brunette's arm. She winked and blew him an air kiss. He smiled back and she walked away. Easy. As. Pie.
She walked over to Jo. Hey, bitch. She called everyone that. She thought it was funny. I need to get a guy. Something. Some man candy. Lets get someone. She grabbed Jo's wrist and dragged her off the dance floor and to the bar. Brooke hungered for a boy's taste, a boy's lips. Anything. She sat down at a barstool and ordered one more cosmo. She drank it down quickly and laughed a little. A quick little buzz never hurt anyone.
(sorry not a lot of muse I want to find a dude haha but Jo and Brooke seem perfect for each other and for the picture just anything with sophia bush and yes, an avatar)

Jo's wrist was comfortably settled in the dark headed guy's hand as she followed him off the floor when her other wrist was snatched up. She turned abruptly, pulling back on the man who bumped into her. She laughed when she realized it was just Brooke, "Ah, hey there," she said with a slightly drunk smile. Brooke didn't seem to notice the boy, but as she pulled Jo off, Jo looked back, nodding for the guy to follow her. He'd offered her a drink, and he seemed sort of funny. No sense in letting him go yet. She spun up on one of the bar stools next to Brooke with the boy sitting down on the end. "So, what do you want to drink," the boy asked her and Jo smiled, "Tequila Slammer."
She looked over as Brooke wolfed down another Cosmo and curiously wondered just how much the girl could take. Jo had a good tolerance for alcohol she had to say, but she'd seen some people smashed after a couple drinks. She turned back to chat with the dark haired guy she discovered was named Serge, which she commented was exotic. At Brooke's drunken mating cry Jo rolled her eyes, "One sec, Serge." She chuckled at a slightly smashed Brooke before scanning prospects for her. "Hey, you," she called at a passing guy nodding when he looked at her quizzically, "Yeah, come here." As he moved their way she smiled, "I'm Jo, and this is Brooke," she began with a nod toward Brooke to make her the focus. "Brooke's in the mood for some body shots, how about you?"
Jo felt weird pimping this girl she barely knew out, but hey she was good at this sort of thing. She left the two to their own devices and decided she'd take her own suggestion. "How about you Serge," she said with a grin, "In for some fun," she asked as she waved down the bartender for some salt and citrus. Five minutes later and Jo was thoroughly enjoying herself as Serge came out of his shell, his tongue licking the salt off her chest before taking a shot and meeting her lips as he took the slice of lime from her. "Now it's my turn," Jo said, licking just beneath his Adam's apple before tossing salt on it, and licking again. She took the shot and then stole his lime with a big smile. She glanced back over at Brooke, "Having fun," she questioned, louder than necessary, but the liquor was really kicking in.
OOC: It would be awesome if you could get at least three-hundred words. =]
