one flight ... one fate ... hundreds of lives flight 554, with an estimated 426 passengers aboard the aircraft. flying from chicago international airport, terminal 4, to destination sydney. it started out a normal day for the passengers of the 554 flight. regular airport day for sure. bustling people and screaming children. of course there was a delay, only an hour however. thankfully it wasn't too long.
the passengers said goodbye to the ground and took off somewhere around the time of 2pm. into the afternoon, above the clouds. the plane was on course, the passengers and staff were as happy as they usually were. everything was normal in the world of air travel. but this flight would never sydney, australia. not even close.
no one knew what was happening. all they knew is that the plane was plummeting at full speed down to the watery depths. smashing into the water and taking 426 passenger, including staff, down with it.
but as many escaped into the ocean, before them they saw land. faith was restored. they could get help. but as they neared the island. the survivors saw that there was no one on the beach. they were on a desert island. as the survivors looked around, inspected. there fears were reawakened.
what happens when you put a bunch of completely different adults, teenagers and even children all alone on a desert island? your about to find out. every one of them is a shooting star, but not everyone survives....
