I've only got myself to answer to
The girl wandered the streets of Pacific Place. Her i-pod was in her ears and she was singing loudly to the music. "The world is waiting right outside your door. What are you waiting for? C'mon, here's your chance! Don't let it slip right through your hands! Are you ready, for the ride of your life?" she sang loudly, completely unabashed by the fact that she was being stared at and rather making quite the scene. She obviously didn't care one teensy, tiny bit. Her hands were shoved in the pockets of a white zip-up hoodie with random, blaringly colorful designs on it, the hood up, and skinny leg jeans covered her legs. Black and pink checkered vans were worn on her small feet as she moved down the sidewalk, her head bobbing slightly to the music.
She had no particular destination in mind. She'd been here for several years now, and, for some reason, Pacific Place was her favorite place to wander. It wasn't the coolest, most interesting place in Seattle. It didn't even have the kind of stores she liked to shop in, but it was good for wandering. To Sadie's way of thinking anyway.
Her singing stopped for a moment as she pulled her hand out of her pocket, revealing a full sized black i-pod. She flicked through the songs without really paying attention to where she was going, just letting other people move. "This is the story of girl, who cried a river and drowned the whole world!" she half yelled for all the world to hear. Again her head began to bob to the music. She was obviously quite the shameless little thing.
She turned down the music that blared in her ears, then pulled out the earbuds altogether and slipped into Barnes & Noble, slipping the i-pod securely into her pocket, her hands still shoved in the pockets of the hoodie sweatshirt as well. She wandered through the aisles of books rather boredly. She didn't have anything better to do....

rumor and noelle harper !
Well I can’t get my self together I’m soaking in the pain It’s ridiculous how easy it is to go astray When my focus ain’t right Sometimes crazy’s all right [/i]_____________________________________________________________ Rumor awoke at nine in the morning to find a slightly scary face looming over her. However, she was unsurprised to find that it was Noelle, she was always waking up Rum and getting into her mommy's bed. She sat up and plopped the four-year old on her lap. She rubbed down Ellie's hair and said "What's up sweetie?" Noelle solemnly took Rumor's face into her tiny hands and planted a wet kiss on her lips, saying "I just wanted to say that I lobe you, mommy." Rumor frowned a bit, something that she needed to stop doing, possible premature wrinking, bad things. She plastered on a fake smile and said "I love you, too." Kids were so fickle, she had woken her up just to say that she loved her. Rumor pulled off the covers, now that she was up she might as well start the day. Maybe her and Noelle should go shopping that would be fun. Plus, she needed to get a copy of The Great Gatsby for her English class, she hated school so much. So, it was off to Pacific Place for the Harper girls today. Sure, Rum had a nanny and her uncle was willing to babysit, but she actually liked spending time with her daughter unlike her own now deceased mother who would rather socialize than spend any real time with her only child. "C'mon baby," She said cheerfully, shopping had this effect on her. "We're going shopping." Ellie smiled and ran off to her room, probably to create an outfit. Noelle was very precocious fashion wise, just four and already putting together her own outfits. It brought a smile to her fashion obsessed mother's face. Rumor herself walked into her walk-in closet and began examining choice outfits for the day. She needed something cute, but casual. She flipped through hundreds of different clothing items, probably thousands, she rarely cleaned out her closet in case she needed to use a piece. Finally, she decided on a yellow mini-dress with a slight tank in a gray part. She put on some black flip-flops, put on her make-up, and grabbed her Steve Madden glasses and her yellow Prada. She walked into Noelle room to find her daugther struggling with a tunic shirt and already in a pair of jeans. She helped Ellie with her top and then they walked down to the kitchen. Rumor grabbed a breakfast bar and made Noelle some cereal and watched her eat. When her daughter finished eating. Rumor looked at the keys to her forbidden Range Rover and considered driving illegally risking her probation, then decided against it. They would walk. She grabbed her house keys and the Harper girls started heading towards Pacific Place. It actually wasn't all that far from the gated community where they lived. After an hour or so they finally reached their destination. By this time, Ellie was sagging in Rumor's arm and Rum was watching the world drive by her through her stunner shades. Their first destination; Barnes and Nobles. They walked into the store, Noelle dropping out of Rumor's arms instantly. She wached half-heartedly as Noelle admired the display of children's books, she just wanted to get the Gatsby book and leave. However, a few seconds later her kid was running up to her a picture book in her hands saying "Mommy buy me a book." Rumor nodded and watched as Noelle started sprinting toward the checkout in the back of the store. Instead of reaching the counter, Ellie had managed to bump straight into someone else. The little girl fell onto the ground and her eyes became wet with tears, Rum jogged over and picked her kid and said "Sorry, bout that." to the girl that Ellie had bumped into. { outfit. I've only got myself to answer to
The girl wandered aimlessly through the rows of books, running her fingers over the spines of the books, some paperback, some hard back, her eyes absently scanning the titles, waiting for something to catch her eye. Bored with that particular aisle, she slipped out into the main aisle thing that ran from the front of the store to the back. "oomph" she breathed as something small b umped into her. SHe looked quickly down to see the little girl on th efloor with big watery eyes.
She knelt to help the girl, but a young woman whom Sadie assumed was the little girl's mother was already there. She rose as the other young woman scooped the little girl up.
"Oh, not at all a problem" Mercedes replied lightly, tucking a strand of longish black hair behind her ear. "I'm Mercedes" she offered brightly, nodding a bit. "She's a cutie". Another nod accompanied the words.
It was true. SHe was a beautiful little blonde haired, blue eyed thing. It was awfully hard for a blonde haired blue eyed little girl to be anything but adorable. To Sadie's way of thinking anyway. She also tended to have a bit of a soft spot for kids, for whatever reaosn, although she didn't really look the type to have a huge interest in little screaming kids. She did however, and, generally speaking, she got along quite well with them. Except when she wasn't paying attention and knocked one straight to the floor...She heaved a sigh, feeling a little bad about the incident. Mercedes tended to have quite the conciounse, and sometime sit nagged at her endlessly, although this was such a little thing and th egirl appeared to be alright that she doubted she needed to worry much...
