History: Sera's childhood wasn't very normal. Her mother was an abstract artist who sold most of her works of art to the MoMA (Museum of Modern Art) and thus their family was quite wealthy. Her father was a normal business man, working in New Jersey as a small claims insurer. Sera was a very reserved child, not having a whole lot of friends. She loved growing up in the big city and looking up at the towering buildings all the time. At the age of 6 she took up ballet, and was instantly hooked. She began going twice every week after school, sometimes 3 times a week if she was lucky. Sera usually got the finer things in life and wore only the newest fashions and had the newest things. But back then the newest things weren't all that great. She loved her life and her hometown and she thought nothing would ever change that. But when her brother Reagan was born her family decided it was time for a change and a move. Sera, who was now 10 was mad and wanted nothing more then to stay in NYC. But her parents didn't listen and they ended up moving to a small town in New Mexico. Sera spent the next 8 years hating life, and getting through school with the highest marks so she could go to a college in NY. She continued to take dance classes, for it was the only place she felt she could be herself and it reminded her off the city she loved. Her brother never understood her, but after the move neither did her parents. After high school Sera went to NYU, majoring in performing arts. She then graduated and worked a couple of years as a Broadway dancer before moving to Seattle. Though the move wasn't her idea. She moved to Seattle, and away from her beloved city to be close to her dying brother.
Random childhood memory: Looking up at the towering skyscrapers on her way toward school everyday and smiling with pride for her hometown.
Random Memory: Moving to damed New Mexico because of her little brother.
Random Fact: She has been taking dancing since she was 6.

Sample Post: The loud buzzing of a blaring alarm awoke Sera promptly at 5 am. She turned over and with a large groan switched the alarm off. The Aussie Shepard she shared the bed with barked loudly and scratched at the closed door, asking to go out. Sera sat up and yawned loudly before finding the dog's leash and her own black slippers. She walked down the hallway and toward the front door. With a quick jerk the door was open and she was being dragged out of it by the large dog. "Slow down Emma!" Sera cried as she closed the door behind her. Emma began sniffing everything in sight, and stopping only to bark at a passing jogger. Although it was 6 am, there was no sun to be found. Clods covered the entire sky, with rain threatening to fall at any moment now. This was one thing Sera hated about this wretched town. There was rarely any sun. Emma had done her morning 'duties' and was now barking at a random squirrel. Sera dragged Emma inside and then began getting ready for another day of job interviews. Sera looked at the clock on the counter and gasped. It was nearly 7 and she hadn't done anything. She had to be at the interview by 8! Sera was panicking now, rushing around, throwing clothes on, applying her little make-up and tying her hair up in a bun. She looked frazzled, and she was. Emma began barking again, this time at a bird that had landed on the window sill. Sera grumbled and scolded Emma for her constant unnecessary barking. She then grabbed her keys, threw on a coat, and ran out to her Lexus she had in the parking lot. With a turn of the key and a rev of the engine she was gone. But a small smile crept it's way onto her face as she drove through the city, and she could't help but tear up at the sight of the towering buildings. It was just like home.. but she knew it would never in any way replace he hometown. After about 15 minutes of driving Sera had finally made it to a small dance studio in the heart of the city. She parked the car and sat there for a second, recollecting herself, before she went inside. It was cool and crisp inside the studio, unlike outside, which was warm and muggy. Just then a well toned man in tights came storming out of an office, rage and fury upon his face. The man saw Sera and frowned even more. "Good luck girly!! You'll need it." He spoke as he stormed past her. Sera was now scared as to what he meant and walked slowly into the office. "Mr. Delune?" Sera asked nervously. A stocky built man in a leather chair answered kindly. "You must be Seraphine Fletcher. Sit, sit. Please." Sera handed him a resume and sat down. Her foot began to tap anxiously as the man reviewed her resume and it was 10 minutes before he said anything. "Congratulations Seraphine! You are our newest dance instructor. Hope you teach those kids everything you know." He smiled kindly and Sera left without a word. She was speechless.
